The Word Is Out

Sienna and I just returned from an outing to the Co-op to find two birds waiting for bird seed at the table on our porch and one of our bird feeders is officially empty! I guess the word is officially out. The family at the little house is feeding us ... That was "bird talk," if you couldn't tell.

The birds have moved onto the other feeder full of thistle seeds.

The view we see from the dining room ... Every morning we wake up to the birds.

Our next mission, to get this Washington State Birds and this The Backyard Birdsong Guide.
Then we can start identifying them! Maybe we'll even get them one of these Dragonfly Tabletop Birdbath.
