Gosh, A LOT has happened since my last post on this lil', old blog! Most importantly, Sienna started back at school again (our homeschool days seem to be over) and she absolutely LOVES it. She really wanted to go back to school to be with kiddos her own age every day. I totally get it. But, I will cherish the time we had together learning at home and will continue to fill in any gaps that might be missing from school or explore other subjects she may want to learn about and not be able to at school. Here are a few photos of her beaming face at some recent school days.
The Jog-A-Thon!
Stripes Day during Spirit Week! Forest had to join in on the fun!
So, now our days include dropping off and picking up Sienna every day from school. Our drive usually includes Sunshine, who loves to ride shotgun in the car. She likes to patrol the area and make sure it's safe for our family!
We celebrated Halloween with a bunch of fun activities this year! We took Sienna and Forest to a movie night at her school to see Hotel Transylvania. She had lots of fun hanging out with a little group of girls. We also attended the annual Halloween Dance Party at her dance school. We trick-or-treated for a bit and handed out candy to the neighborhood kids at our little house.
On our way to the Halloween Dance Party!
I got my hair chopped off and I'm loving it!
A veterinarian and a puppy!
We carved our pumpkins on the Friday before Halloween. Forest didn't like the squishy pumpkin guts so much! Sienna didn't mind them though. Kona, our heart kitty helped.
That's about all for now! Oh, except for quitting my parent/toddler teaching job. Now, I'm just staying home with Forest for a few months and working on a project to clear my WA teaching certificate, so I can look for a teaching job next year. I'm very excited about returning to the classroom and having Forest start pre-K, which, I am sure he will love!
I can't believe it's already November!
