Happy Easter!

Happy Easter from the little townhouse!

We had a cozy little celebration this year. Last night, Sienna and I prepared a snack for the Easter bunny and co-wrote him a note to thank him for all of his hopping around from house to house.

Sienna with her letter and the snack.

She was very excited.

Sienna woke up early this morning (she is definitely an early bird) and we made our way down the stairs to see if the Easter bunny had stopped by the little townhouse.

On our way downstairs.

The Easter bunny did come!

He brought Sienna some new furniture for her Fairy Lodge.

The Easter bunny ate the broccoli the same way Sienna does!

Her note to the Easter bunny.

Sienna drew this picture of a bunny.
(Mama only helped with the ears!)

Her new books: Peter in Blueberry Land, The Sun Egg and Marshmallow. We read them all this morning.

Our Spring nature table.

After our family tradition of pancakes for Sunday morning breakfast, we made our way over to Nana's house for an Easter egg hunt and a delicious lunch. Today was a perfect Easter day for Sienna!

Quiet

So, I've been rather quiet in this space, but I assure you I am still here and I will begin blogging more again very soon.

Most of you know some of what has been going on with our little family. In March, we were filled with joy as we learned that we would be welcoming a new little wee one in November. Then a few weeks later, the news changed as we learned we actually had a blighted ovum. (I plan to write a more detailed blog about my miscarriage very soon!) I opted to have my miscarriage naturally, but my body seems to be taking its sweet time to complete. Sometimes it feels like the "never ending" miscarriage.

In other news, we are also moving ... once again! Our apartment complex has decided to start charging an outrageous amount for water, since there are not separate meters on each apartment. We paid less for water in every house we have lived in! So, in May we will be moving and I will be taking you on a house tour, once again.

Before I say goodbye, I do want to assure you that with all of the heaviness going on in our home there is also a perfect balance of silliness, too!

I promise I will be back very soon! See you sometime next week.
