Chai Tea Sneakers

We adopted this little cutie as an early birthday present for Sienna on Thursday afternoon. S/he is around 6 weeks old and just had her first check-up at The Cat Clinic. The vet was pretty sure that it's a little girl, but will definitely be able to tell at 8 weeks. Merlin is still adjusting to having a new kitty friend in the house, which may take some time, but we'll introduce them slowly.

Sienna named the kitten after Mama's favorite coffee drink, Chai Tea Latte. She overheard Mama saying that I would like to name a kitty Chai Tea. The middle name of Sneakers came from visiting kitties at N.O.A.H. Sienna was very impressed with one of the older cats there with the name of Sneakers. The name happens to fit our kitten perfectly though, because it looks like she is wearing little white sneakers.

Sienna loves her new kitten and is very gentle with her. She loves giving Chai Tea Sneakers lots and lots of kisses every day. We can't wait to watch them grow up together!

Home Again, Home Again

Yesterday afternoon, our little family arrived back home from Auntie Jennifer and Uncle Eric's wedding. We enjoyed our time with friends & family and the amazing weather in Chico. The wedding ceremony was very touching and Auntie Jennifer was such a beautiful bride. We had fun being in the wedding party and Sienna did such a good job walking down the aisle! She even tried to walk down by herself after the ceremony. Here is a snapshot of our little family on the big day.
